They come out from "nothing" (even considering some eventual reverse engineering) with a set of 5 drivers supposedly to be sonically matching.
During the development process they certainly got all kind of sounds wh...

I was thinking ESD drivers may have a true advantage over ALE/GOTO/Others (apparently they actually know how their drivers work) if that allow to someone design the horn exactly the way he/she want, and later order the driver with custom specs to mat...

I am also reticent about some affirmations from Kirmuss.
Looking around and the Clearaudio double matrix professional SONIC, which seems to also have some "sonic" as option plus vaccum, but with an event worse price than Klaudio.I think the Kirmus...

I already give up of commercial available audio products since a few years ago. I come with the conclusion I will never find a nearly ideal solution readily available anywhere. Tune Audio Anima is the only horn product what probably would fulfill...

All their marketing is wrong in several ways. Some of them:
1 - the website (beyond the fact they are using some BS template you can buy for a few bulks, and all them them are buggy, slow and insecure) have a page t...

Hi.
Just remembering I am not technically capable to do any actual statement.
About the GM-100 I guess so. NatAudio has an amplifier using GM100 but with solid state power supply. Magma.

Beyond those well know "audiphiles" transformers there is the Ogonowski also. This is the transformer Lapizator use.
That should not be cheap, and I think you may have problems to find a cheap (probably) custom tr...

I am far from the best person to comment on it but your biggest problem would be the (huge/gigantic) power supply. And I confess I do not know if it is possible to parallel more than two output valves on SET fashion, I never saw it but the ultral...

Hi.
Wouldn't carbon fiber bass-horns be to light? I mean, un-prevent vibrations and similar effects?
Cheers!

Those materials may be interesting to be used as finishing/primer to avoid degradation of the (polymer) concrete horns. And at least one of them can also be applied on wood.
I, of course, do not have idea how any of those product...

I really would like to hear from someone who has experience with PurePower and Isotek EVO3 Super Titan + EVO3 Genesis. But I guess that would not be a easy catch. :)...

GOTO make me feel it renders the musicians like they are ghosts. They are all in there but floating and slightly transparent.I think the reason for that is GOTO does very interesting things at highs and mid-highs but while it goes down at the frequen...

I will wait for the Quantum version of that...Seriously, that thing (and the explanation) seem something people saw as the future in 50's.Synergistic Research was already working around those kind of enchantment products for while, but they are still...

Hi.The problem with albums with more than one composer could be solved placing them based on the first one what appears in the album name. Well, later could have the problem of not remembering which one appear first, but if you keep a catalog of your...

Paul,I just found out the Prometheus, from Theta Digital, uses (custom?) Hypex. I believe it should be easy for you to find one at your place.EDIT: may also interest you: hereCheers!...

Paul S,Cessaro use plate amplifiers in theirs "bass horns". I do not know if they are made by Hypex (I think I already saw "Made in Poland" in one of theirs amplifiers) but if you find someone around with a Cessaro you could experience it.EDIT: a bet...

I think I mentioned before for the price of a Stromtank one can probably get two huge (datacenter level) EATON UPS (or a large extra battery pack) with theoretical output of <1% THD on linear loads - with enough power to driver the entire house, ...

Just in case nobody saw, here says the Stromtank uses LiFePO4 batteries....

You should be really inattentive... :-DI just heard her playing Paganini once, I do not remember where (but it was a recording, not live) and what specific piece, but I remember I also really liked it. However, I always forget about her because, for ...
