Paul, Since almost everything these days is being mixed and mastered for the mobile device, the correct answer would be better speakers in them.

And if car audio has fallen off it's earlier peak pace, yet some people are yet spending more than ever for more of whatever it is they are hearing (or seeing...). Years and years ago my son's vehicle was stolen, and his fancy-brand car audio was missing when the vehicle was retrieved, a few days after the theft. I took him out after that and finally convinced him to pick off-brand components by ear. He wound up laughing, because he much preferred that sound, and he could leave the windows down and no one wanted it. Paul S
