Tweeters: the most misused elements.

Audio people love to argue which tweeter is better. Living aside some semi-objective technical aspects I would suggest that the debate about the advantages of one tweeter over another without referents to anything else is completely bogus. A tweeter should not be good “as is” but only should be evaluated in context of it’s harmonizing with MF channel (the most important), fitting to the given listening room “type” (very loaded statement) and to allow itself to be used in the way how it wanted to be used. To think about a tweeter’s benefits by looking at a tweeter sitting in a shipping box and reading the marketing data is as pointless as to tutor a lion to become a vegetarian. So far whatever I have seen the industry, the audio propaganda and most of it’s subscriber preach about tweeters is just an inflated BS.
