The Lieberson’s Neruda Songs by Lorraine Hunt

It is James Levine and it is BSO at their best and it is the glorious Lorraine Hunt Lieberson recorded LIVE right here in Symphony Hall. This performance is a wonderful reminder about a great singer, the beautiful women, one of the greatest contemporary song cycles and the very happy evening in Boston. A hundred years from now what Lorraine and BSO did at that evening will be as indispensable songs classic as today we consider Schwarzkopf performed Richard Strauss' Four Last Songs.
