Paul, I'd love to give my Reds new cones but sadly they are not available. The dope remover and the dope provided by the Mainly Tannoy guy smell acetone so I guess this is the solvent. I asked about the cone deterioration on several fora - no reply. ChatGPT is my firend here, digging out similar problems documented in the past. They are surprisingly rare.
