Well, Robin, I agree with every word you said. I was simply moved on an ontological level by your previous post, yet not so moved that I threw in the metaphorical towel. I have supposed for some time that we can stipulate in such a way that it at least becomes possible to talk to peers about what we are doing and by measures how we are doing it, including enough "why" to keep a "working context". I see as amusing the high irony of difficulty communicating in areas that may mean a lot to us, such as Music, broadly speaking. If indeed there is no way to talk about the "practical means to an end" here, then I suppose this site will pop like another conceptual bubble. For me, that would be a shame, and mostly because I think the "Existential Perspective" includes bending over and picking up The Task. Sure, plenty "gets done without us"... but not for us. When we speak of creating our own Context, I suppose this is IT.
