Paul, Good Tone is a complex subject, there are many parameters that affects on tone and it is very hard to control it and reach favorite tone.For example wall or floor or ceiling surfaces affect on tone. I prefer thin natural wood surfaces …Room shape affects on tone and you can not scape it.Another example is silver cable, silver easily change the tone.It means Tone/Harmonics are very sensitive to many parameters so it is not easy to control it.
