For sure three turntables are more convenient sort of speak and for sure less chance of an accident. A day long available chauffeur is more convenient then to drive own car and to have a remote control over weather is more convenient then to have an irrigation system installed. I do have 3 turntables and if all of them performed the same then I would still prefer to have 3 arms instead of turntables. But it is me.  With my setup I doubt that I would be able to have 3 turntables, identically, properly setup running in the same phonostage and to have equally-comfortable access to them. To have 3 turntables the entire layout of equipment has to be very differently arranged, in my case it would not be convenient and I do not pursue it.
